Aerospace Manufacturing (SAM) was
incorporated on 24 December 1981 with businesses in the aerospace and
industrial equipment industries. SAM is a subsidiary of Accuron
Technologies with 1,200 employees and with a revenue of US$245m in
2008. SAM’s products are supplied from its facilities in Singapore,
Malaysia, Thailand, China and Germany to customers world-wide.
SAM is recognised by the global aviation industry as a premier designer
of motion control components and manufacturer of niche aerospace
products. Its manufacturing expertise is in the machining of tough
& high temperature alloys such as stainless steels, titanium and
nickel-based alloys of complex geometry. Its products are used in a
wide variety of aircraft, ranging from regional and business jets to
airliners and helicopters.
SAM’s industrial equipment business is spearheaded by its KLSE listed
subsidiary, LKT Industrial Berhad. It offers unique engineering
solutions for a broad portfolio of innovative equipment, services and
niche products for renewable energy; semiconductor; medical equipment;
oil and gas; and related microelectronics industries.
SAM is focused on maintaining world class competitiveness through
operational excellence. Its aerospace manufacturing facilities utilise
high capability on CNC equipment to meet the exacting standards of the
aerospace industry. This is well supported by a complete range of
special processes such as plasma coating, heat treatment, plating,
brazing, blue-etch, EDM, plasma and TIG welding, etc, to provide a
one-stop manufacturing service for its customers. Its industrial
equipment manufacturing facilities are vertically integrated and offer
unique engineering solutions from collaborative design and development
to finished product assembly. Its core pillars are in Design &
Engineering; System Integration; Fabrication; Extensive Supply Chain

Global Operations
SAM’s
Singapore Operations manufactures complex engine cases. Its products
are being used on single-aisle, twin-aisle, regional and business
aircraft.
Its
China Operations, under SAM (Suzhou) Co., Ltd., is located in the Export
Processing Zone of the Suzhou Industrial Park. It manufactures engine
mounts, airfoils and engine case modules. Its products are used on
single-aisle, twin-aisle, regional and business aircraft.
Its
German Operations, under Sitec Aerospace GmbH, designs and manufactures
actuators, valves, flight/engine controls and hydraulic assemblies. The
German Operations also offers 24/7 after market service through its
comprehensive product support network to more than 130 operators
world-wide.
Its
Malaysia Operations, under LKT Industrial Berhad, designs, manufactures
and integrates equipment to support the renewable energy, medical, oil
& gas and semi-conductor industries.
