Singapore Aerospace Manufacturing (SAM) was incorporated in December 1981 and is the aerospace business arm of Accuron Technologies. Our aerospace business is recognized by the global aviation industry as a premier designer and manufacturer of niche aerospace products. Our expertise is in the precision manufacturing of tough & high temperature alloys such as stainless steels, titanium and nickel-based alloys of complex geometry. We employs 730 people with projected revenue of US$100 million in 2005. Being a focused high quality engineering company, our aerospace products are used in a wide variety of aircraft, covering regional and business jets, to airliners and helicopters. The products are supplied from its facilities based in Singapore, China and Germany to major aerospace customers world-wide. We are IS9001 certified by the Productivity & Standard Board in 1993. Our Quality System is endorsed by the major companies in the aerospace industry.

The Singapore Operations manufactures engine mount assemblies and complex engine cases. These parts are being used on Airbus and Boeing aircraft families, including the new A340-500/600. They can also be found on regional/business jets such as Gulfstream IV, Canadair RJ-700 and Global Express.

The China Operations was established since 1995 and located in the Export Processing Zone of the Suzhou Industrial Park. It has a built up area of 12,500 sq m, on a land area of 24,000 sq m manufacturing airfoils that go into the PW4000, CF34 and the LM6000 land and marine engines. With the completion of its new facility beginning 2004, its product range will be broadened to include engine mounts and case modules.

The German Operations under Sitec Aerospace has its core strength in the design and manufacture of actuators, valves, flight/engine controls and complete hydraulic assemblies. It has a dedicated team capable of managing programs from concept studies to detailed design and manufacturing, with a fully integrated test capability. It also has a comprehensive product support network to provide 24/7 service to more than 130 operators world-wide.

Capabilities
SAM is focused on maintaining world class competitiveness through operational excellence. It has high capability on CNC turning and 5-axis milling to meet the exacting standards of the aerospace industry. This is well supported by a complete range of special processes, heat treatment, plating, brazing, blue-etch, EDM, welding and NDT, to provide a one-stop manufacturing service for its customers.
